HAILO at SICAM 2024

Innovative waste separation and organiser systems
For over three-quarters of a century, HAILO has stood for innovative products "made in Germany" that make housekeeping more comfortable and safer. At this year's SICAM, the company with the red dot logo shows which waste separation and organiser systems for keeping houses and apartments tidy are part of its current collections. HAILO will demonstrate the width of its product spectrum at Stand C37 in Hall 1: the family business has breathed new life into its models Mono and ÖkoFlex, classics in their portfolio, with a complete design revamp. The simple, affordable waste bins continue to enjoy international popularity, and have now been reissued in a contemporary form.
HAILO wouldn't be HAILO if the company didn't also exhibit numerous practical innovations, such as Cargo Aqua, for example, a waste management system that exemplifies how HAILO responds to the current needs of its customers. The high-quality in-cabinet designs are fitted to the front asymmetrically, which leaves enough space for a water station on the inside. "Affordable and good, healthy filtered water that you can drink straight from the tap is an aspect that is becoming increasingly important to consumers," says area manager Stephan Müller. "However, where do you put the filters? Finding an answer to this and to the many other questions that constantly arise in the continuously developing environments of the kitchen and the utility room is HAILO's job – and we do it with passion and inventiveness."
HAILO illustrates the fact that simple solutions are often the best with Allegro, a pullout unit system that consists of a non-slip mat placed underneath bins combined according to the individual needs and waste separation habits. HAILO also presents solutions for the utility room in Pordenone: here, fitted systems for storing bottles, crates of drinks or laundry keep eve-rything in order – and they are now not only available in the standard white, but also in a modern dark grey colour.
At the SICAM, HAILO is therefore showing waste separation and organisation systems for all requirements and all kinds of cabinets – thereby both underlining its leading position in the market for standard products, as well as its role as a developer of precisely fitting solutions that meet customerspecific demands.
Waste separation systems made from recycled materials
Besides this year's innovations, the stand will once again also focus on the issue of sustainability. "Sustainability is a firm element of our DNA," says CEO Jörg Lindemann. "Ever since the establishment of our company, we have focused on developing our business in a way that is guided by people. Naturally, this also includes a comprehensive sustainable strategy." At HAILO, this extends to all levels of its business activities: from protecting the environment to occupational health and safety, from human rights and sustainable procurement to the product development: HAILO's fitted systems are extremely long-lived and therefore create very little waste. Eventually, once their life-cycle is at an end, the non-composite, high-quality materials used contribute to ensuring that HAILO products are recyclable by up to 100 percent. In addition, the company is increasingly using recycled raw materials. The plastic used for the designs Tandem Black and the space-saving version, Raumspar Tandem Black, as well as designs from the HAILO Euro Cargo range, is made from recycled material.
With this commitment to quality, functionality, comfort and sustainability, HAILO will also continue to be a reliable partner for intelligent waste separation and organisation system solutions in future – and this not only at SICAM 2024, but at all times and all over the world...
