Declaration of accessibility

1. Scope of application

This declaration of accessibility applies to the domain www.hailo.de and concerns exclusively the information area "Company" and the B2C business area "home & business" in the languages German, English, French and Dutch.

2. Status of compliance with the requirements

This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882 and the provisions of the Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG). The basis is the WCAG 2.1 standard at conformance level AA.

3. Methodology of the audit

The assessment of compatibility with the requirements is based on a self-assessment carried out in May 2025. The following test tools were used:

  • WAVE Accessibility Evaluation Tool
  • Google Lighthouse
  • Accessibility Insights for Web (Microsoft)

4. Non-accessible content

The content listed below is currently not fully accessible:

  • Some images do not have alternative text descriptions (alt texts)
  • Some text and control elements are not labelled for use with screen readers
  • Some PDF documents and e-mail templates are not barrier-free

The removal of these barriers is already being planned and will be implemented in stages over the next six months.
