Year of implementation: 2024
Project objective: Development of a safe, ergonomic access system for 80 m high Rhine pylons, enabling regular inspections in the bridge box and on the pylons, and meeting the high safety and technical requirements.
HAILO products used: 8 HAILO TOPLift service lifts distributed across 2 bridge pylons
Special features:
- HAILO service lifts were approved for a 17° incline for the first time: ladder-guided on a 17° sloping pylon wall
- First service lift at the bottom on the side, 2nd service lift above in the center. Lifting height 35 and 25 meters. Travel time 3 min.
- Comfortable ascent despite the incline
- Transfer at a height of 35 m to the second lift within the narrow structure geometry
