Stairs are usually the right choice for a wide variety of requirements. Stairs are used both indoors and outdoors. In addition to safety, stability and flexibility also play a major role. Different structural conditions require individual solutions. Whether standard stairs, with a platform, mobile, as a bridging stair or mobile platform stairs - each stair solution has its individual advantages for the user and also meets the requirements of DIN ISO 14122 / EN 131-7. HAILO Professional bridging stairs and platform stairs are made of light and stable aluminum and are therefore corrosion-resistant. Optional variants with stainless steel parts are available for outdoor use.
In order to offer the optimum product solution for every application and purpose, we offer bridging steps and platform stairs with different angles of inclination, step widths and numbers of steps. The selection ranges from small models with three steps to stairs with ten steps and a corresponding working height. For safety reasons, there is usually a sturdy guardrail on both sides of the stairs and the platform.

Platform stairs, platform ladders and stair bridges - stationary and mobile - safe and convenient
In trade and industry, stair ladders, platform ladders, leaning ladders, stepladders and push-up ladders have proven themselves in many areas and fulfill their purpose. In contrast to these ladders, which are usually only used for short ascents and consist of stiles with rungs or narrow steps, stairways form an ascent or descent made of wide steps. This ensures that the user can reach or overcome differences in height easily and safely.
Stairs are suitable for escape routes, access to machines, storage facilities or rooms, for example. HAILO stair landings and platform stairs are designed for individual solutions. Platform stairs, with or without railings, are suitable as work or access platforms. Whether stationary stairs and bridging steps or mobile platform stairs equipped with castors - HAILO offers the right model for every requirement. Mobile push-on steps are ideal for unloading vehicles or airplanes, for example. Mobile push-on platform steps are also usually the safe, convenient solution for cleaning and maintaining larger vehicles or machines.
The guardrails and handrails on one or two sides of bridging steps and platform stairs provide additional safety when walking on them. The railing consists of plug-in elements so that they can be easily adapted. Whether for platform stairs that can be accessed from one side or for bridging stairs that can be accessed from both sides.
HAILO bridging steps and platform stairs have ribbed aluminum treads that provide a certain degree of slip resistance. As an option, the steps can be fitted with a special anti-slip coating suitable for industrial purposes, thus increasing safety even further.
The inclination of the steps can be selected and adjusted to suit different climbing requirements depending on the available space. Materials, step widths and other equipment options are also available.
