Penstocks
Penstocks or shut-off fittings are used as control valves to control and regulate the flow of water and other liquids. Different application requirements call for expert advice. HAILO Professional offers various models of penstocks in its portfolio.
As a rule, penstocks are attached to the wall, in the case of round drainage shafts also with the aid of a segment stone. Regardless of whether the penstock is to be used to regulate water flows or for complete shut-off, HAILO Professional offers the right model for all requirements. Penstocks are suitable for use in manhole structures, sewers and open channel systems. Due to their low maintenance costs, penstocks are often used in municipal and industrial sewage treatment plants, for example.
CP4 penstock
Due to the pre-tensioned seal, the CP4 penstock guarantees full sealing performance, even at low water pressure. Furthermore, it is suitable for unclean building openings, as the sealing surface to the wall is larger than the wall opening and thus leaks at wall breakouts are avoided.

CP4 semicircular penstock
Both the semicircular bottom and the high sealing quality make the semicircular CP4-RS the ideal fitting for use in DIN chambers. It is suitable for retrofitting in manholes, an existing channel or for the construction of a new channel.

CP4 weir type penstock
Just like the CP4 penstock, the CP4-LT guarantees optimum tightness due to the pre-tensioned seal. This ensures a clear control behaviour, which means there is no spray effect. By opening the CP4 weir type penstock from top to bottom, it is also possible to easily regulate the water level in basins and channels.

SAFOX© penstock
The SAFOX© penstock achieves maximum sealing performance thanks to its patented sealing system. The floating sealing ring seals perfectly to the wall and to the slide plate. It compensates for structural tolerances beyond DIN 18202.

SAFOX© F penstock
The SAFOX© F is specially manufactured for mounting on a pipe flange. Here, also, the patented SAFOX© sealing principle comes into play: the seal is completely independent of the frame. Due to this separation, the SAFOX© F seals perfectly, both to the wall and to the slide plate.

SAFOX© G penstock
The SAFOX© G is characterised by a smooth sole passage. This qualifies it for connections in a manhole, as it can be concreted into the channel without any problems and guarantees a level water flow. The patented SAFOX© sealing principle also comes into play here: the seal is completely independent of the frame. This separation ensures that the SAFOX© G seals perfectly.
