There are several products you can consider that match the different requirements and demands you have for the tasks you want to accomplish.
Which HAILO ladder for which purpose?
Steps or rungs? For indoor renovation, the answer is steps! You can use a rung ladder, but they don’t offer the same degree of freedom of movement and space for working as stepladders. However, if you want to work outside, a rung ladder is the better choice. The hook-in step, available as an accessory, can be used as a working aid, providing relief and support when you’re working for long periods and standing on the rungs.
Depending on the work you want to do indoors, you should choose between a stepladder and a double stepladder. Listed below are the advantages the individual models offer and the tasks they’re best suited for.
Working at low heights: Folding step
The HAILO K70 StandardLine model is a high-quality folding step made of aluminium and steel. Its large steel steps are equipped with non-slip mats. It has a maximum working height of 2.7 m, making it suitable for activities at lower heights, like painting a window frame or hanging a mirror. Thanks to the practical height and handling that distinguish this lightweight model, it’s also ideal as a household ladder. High up with easy access: Stepladder
HAILO has three different aluminium stepladders in its range suitable for renovation work. The basic model is the HAILO L60 StandardLine. You have a choice of three to eight steps, enabling you to reach a maximum working height of up to 3.72 m. Both the steps and the platform are fitted with anti-slip ribbing, guaranteeing you a stable stand. For a little more comfort, you should go for the HAILO L80 ComfortLine. The extra-deep steps give you more space when renovating, make it easier to ascend and gives you more freedom of movement. What's more, the integrated storage tray and bucket loop makes work easier and faster, as all your tools will already be in place.
The HAILO L100 TopLine holds these same qualities. But in addition, it has a universal hook and a rod holder, providing you with even more storage space, as well as an extendable safety retaining bracket, preventing your ladder from going anywhere. Two is better than one: The Double Stepladder
The HAILO D60 StandardLine aluminium safety ladder offers you two ways to climb up and a particularly stable working experience. The two access options not only save you time but also energy, as you need to move the ladder a lot less often. If you use the ladder in the trestle position, i.e. one leg on each side of the ladder, both your hands will be free and you’ll enjoy greater freedom of movement in both directions. This product is also equipped with non-slip steps to provide optimised grip. With a total of 2x5 or 2x7 steps, you can reach a maximum working height of up to 3.09 m, depending on the number of steps selected. Stable and agile - that’s how we’d describe our double stepladder!
