HAILO Inspect: new app simplifies the inspection of ladders and climbing protection systems

HAILO is expanding its digital offering with a new app: HAILO Inspect makes the inspection of mobile ladders and steps, fixed fixed fixed ladders and climbing protection systems more convenient - and is therefore an ideal companion for the responsible personnel.

For service technicians, building services personnel, assembly, maintenance and repair personnel, safety officers or facility service specialists, the inspection of climbing systems and ladders is a recurring task. With the new HAILO Inspect app, Hailo now offers these specialists a tool that simplifies this important task enormously, guarantees maximum data security and fits perfectly into the HAILO Professional service portfolio: "What makes us special is our holistic approach - and that doesn't stop at first-class products," says Christoph Moll, HAILO Service & New Markets Department Manager. "We also support our customers in their use of the products and in this way make an active contribution to occupational safety in companies with various modules".
In addition to training courses, these building blocks include various digital platforms that complement each other: On its e-learning portal, HAILO offers various online courses. Anyone who has completed the courses "Qualified person for the inspection of ladders, steps and mobile scaffolds" and "Qualified person for the inspection of fixed fixed fixed ladders and arrester systems" has the necessary specialist knowledge for the inspection of work equipment as a "qualified person". With the HAILO Inspect app, Hailo now supports these competent persons in their work.

No chance for hackers & Co.
HAILO Inspect facilitates the prescribed recurring inspections of ladders and climbing systems: They can be carried out and documented simply and quickly using mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. The data is stored exclusively on the end devices, thus ensuring maximum data security and protecting privacy. The app offers a number of useful features: ladders can be digitally inventoried and managed - not only HAILO products, but also third-party ladders. A reminder function draws attention to upcoming audits. A guided ladder check ensures that the "qualified person" takes all the check steps into account. Faults in the test items are documented by photos and added to the test report. The protocol is stored on the terminal device and sent to the tester by e-mail. By means of a QR code, the inspector has access at any time to already completed tests. And because the entire inspection process is paperless, HAILO Inspect also contributes to operational environmental protection.
